Coin camp Heumensoord

€12,50

Between the Nijmegen neighborhood of Brakkenstein and the village of Malden lies the Heumensoord nature reserve—a favorite walking area for locals. During the Nijmegen Four Days Marches, this area, which is regularly used as a training ground, is transformed into a military camp. Soldiers from many countries begin their daily routes for the Nijmegen Four Days Marches from here. For an entire week, Camp Heumensoord becomes the military hub where participants sleep, celebrate, and prepare. It’s a unique place where soldiers from all over the world stay side by side in camaraderie, united by one goal: to complete the Nijmegen 4Daagse.

The iconic entrance gate to the camp, along with boots and a soldier’s helmet, symbolizes the camp. On this pewter Heumensoord coin, we’ve depicted this gate, along with several soldiers setting off together for a day full of walking achievements.

The reverse side of the coin features the 4Daagse logo.

The pewter Heumensoord coin is specially designed for everyone staying at the camp—from walkers and guards to support staff.
