At the far end of Sint Annastraat lies the beautiful Hunnerpark, where remnants still stand of the centuries-old city walls that once surrounded Nijmegen. During the Vierdaagsefeesten—the major festival held alongside the Nijmegen Four Days Marches—this park transforms into a lively celebration ground.
Completing the Nijmegen Four Days Marches is a true celebration for every walker. As a lasting memory of this ultimate walking event, we have combined the ancient, incredibly strong city walls with the Via Gladiola in a pewter sculpture.
The acrylic base features the inscriptions “4-DAAGSE” and the number of kilometers of the route.
