During the Nijmegen Four Days Marches, many steps are taken per walker to complete the 30, 40 or 50 kilometers daily. Shoe soles wear little by little on the asphalt. Profiles are printed in the sand by the thousands of walkers who are on their way to the finish. Each leaves his own footprint in Nijmegen and surroundings.
