The mussel scoop is a pure pewter product and is handcrafted in the Netherlands.
This large mussel (13 cm long) is modeled after the freshwater mussel. Freshwater mussels are bivalves that live in freshwater and are not edible.
Thanks to the special spring, the scoop works just like a real mussel shell. The mussel scoop should not be put in the dishwasher; simply rinse it with warm water after use.
